Cardinal Nutrition, Vancouver, WA, in partnership with the Vancouver Rotary Club, has brought a nationwide vitamin program to Vancouver, and multivitamins to 200 of the area’s underserved children. Cardinal Nu­trition funded and launched The Healthy Foundation’s Vitamin Relief USA™—Operation IQ™ in the Vancouver community. Through the Operation IQ program, vitamins are shipped free of charge to participating sites where school nurses and teachers dispense bottles of vitamins to the parents of students who sign up to receive monthly supplies for their children. Currently, Operation IQ part­­ners with 25 visionary public schools and 19 Head Start programs throughout 12 states providing vitamins to more than 4000 underserved school children every day.
